At Industrias Monzon we are aware of the environmental problems that affect our planet: the reduction of the ozone layer, the climatic change, the deforestation or the desertification.

They are real problems that need our commitment in being an environmentally responsible company. We manufacture our plywood with natural and renewable raw material, like poplar wood, that favours the plantation growing and protects our autochthonous forests.

By doing this, we contribute to the sustainable development, to the Earth protection and to our ecosystem recuperation, because every poplar that is cut down, comes from an industrial use timber farm, which reduce the damage to our natural environment. We also use the latest technologies, making important investments both in technology and in research fields.

Industrias Monzon has obtained the PEFC standard. This Pan-European Forest Certification (PEFC) guarantees that a wooden product comes from a forest managed according to criteria of sustainability, within a pan-European framework.

The PEFC main objectives are:

• Improving the image of wood as a renewable raw material.
• Contributing to furthering forest development so that it is viable for the economy, respectful of the environment and beneficial for society.
• This certification guarantees to our customers that our products come from a forest managed with respect to the environment.
